A call about a vehicle leaking fuel caused Independence Township Fire Department to respond to the scene in front of the Clarkston Woodshop early Monday. Lt. Don Herbert said crews and a fire engine and medic truck responded to the scene. Crews arrived, assessed the situation, stopped the leak, and dissolved a few gallons of gas by using a special fluid to break down the hydrocarbons, Herbert said. Photo by Andrea Beaudoin
