The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department was called to a home on Sharp on Aug. 8 for the theft of a dog.
According to an OCSD report, an 81-year-old woman’s black “Yorky” dog had gotten out the front door of her home and was approached by three white male juveniles.The biggest one, about 5-feet, 4-inches, possibly nine years old with dark hair, picked up her dog and ran northbound on Sipples. She said she informed the kids that it was her dog, but they continued going northbound so she called the police.
OCSD deputies checked the area but were unable to located the dog. The matter was turned over to Oakland County Animal Control.
