The American Red Cross hosts a blood drive at St. Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7925 Sashabaw Road, from 2-7:45 p..m. on April 21.
Download a Blood Donor App at redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients.
A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age, 16 with parental consent in some states, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.

From 2 – 8 p.m. on Sept. 10, a Red Cross blood drive is planned, at the Brandon Township Public Library, 304 South St., Ortonville.
Donors must be at least 17-years-old, and weigh at least 110 pounds and not have donated blood after July 16 to be eligible to donate. Details: 248-627-1471.

A blood drive sponsored by the American Red Cross and the Clarkston Brandon Community Credit Union is planned for 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Dec. 27 at the Clarkston office, 8055 Ortonville Road.
Both members and non-members are welcome to participate.
Anyone who attempts to give blood will receive a free American Red Cross fleece scarf. They will also be entered to win a lease on a new 2008 Mercury Mariner Premiere. Other prizes include $25, $50, and $200 gas cards.
The contest is being held by the American Red Cross from Dec. 20- Jan 7. (Must be 18 to enter.)
