Bravo! Thank you C.J. Carnacchio for your recent column, ‘Respect the law and your neighbors; save fireworks for the Fourth of July.?
I’m not sure what the answer is, but we need change.
I can’t imagine what this does to soldiers with post traumatic stress disorder, not to mention small children and pets.
During, the three ‘legal? nights in July, I have to leave my home with one of my dogs to avoid the worst part of it. Three hours a night, that’s a lot of driving on dirt roads to escape the insanity.
It looks and sounds like a war zone. Not to mention the mess the next morning.
What goes up must come down and lands in our yards and on our roofs.
It’s not safe for small children, pets or wildlife to be exposed to the trash
I’m sure we’re not the only ones that feel this way. I think it’s time for a change.
We need to speak up instead of sitting back and allowing this to continue.
