The students at Pine Tree Elementary School were finally able to enjoy their new playground equipment as the new and improved playground opened recently, about a month after school started in August. A special ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the school on Sept. 9 to mark the event. Ideas for the new playground came from a special Pine Tree committee made up of students, parents and school faculty.
