Dorothy Marion Grovesteen of Ortonville died May 23, 2016.

She was 86.

Dorothy was born July 15, 1929 in Groveland Township to the late Alvin and Minnie (nee: Hotchkiss) Terry. She is survived by three daughters, Georgia (Michael Rinkel) Grovesteen, Terrie (Terry) McCullough and Lori (Fredrick) Haynes; two grandsons, Chad (Andrea) McCullough and Judd (Tara) McCullough; four great-grandchildren, Nole, Allie and Liam McCullough and Jaylee Oliver; and one sister, Bernice Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Grovesteen, in 2011 and six sisters.

Dorothy was a member of the Ortonville United Methodist Church since 1955 and a former member of the Goodrich Country Club. She bowled for over 40 years with the Ortonville Women’s Thursday Nite League.

A funeral service was held May 27, 2016 at Ortonville United Methodist Church, 93 N. Church Street, Ortonville. Pastor Pete Crawford officiated. Interment at Ortonville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. To send a condolence please go to www.CoatsFuneralHome.com.
