PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice to the citizens of ATLAS TOWNSHIP, Genesee County, Goodrich, Michigan. The ATLAS TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, 7:00 p.m. at Atlas Township Hall, 7386 S. Gale Road, Goodrich, MI, to review and receive public comments regarding a request for Parcel # 02-10-300-018, 8.46-acres located on State Road, currently zoned Residential Agricultural (RA)/Commercial-2 (C2). The applicant is asking for M-1 District designation through the conditional zoning process consistent with Article XIII Section 300.1305, C of the Atlas Township Zoning Ordinance. The parcel location and application requesting the rezoning can be viewed at Atlas Township Hall, 7386 S. Gale Road, Goodrich, during regular business hours, Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The regularly scheduled Planning Commission Meeting will follow the Public Hearing. Physically challenged persons needing assistance or aid at the public hearing should contact the Atlas Township Clerk not less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the public hearing.
