About 300 children in costumes and their parents strolled down village streets last October. This year the annual Lake Orion Halloween Parade is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 30.
The parade starts in the parking lot of the Ehman Center on Elizabeth Street, goes east to Broadway, south to Shadbolt, east to Anderson, south to Children’s Park.
Oakland Tech Center Culinary School will be displaying master carved pumpkins in the park. The pumpkins will be sold to the public at 7 p.m.
After the parade the children, accompanied by their parents, are invited to trick or treat at participating downtown businesses until 8 p.m.
