The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of suspicious circumstances on Rockford Court on Nov. 1.
According to reports, a Birch Creek woman was trick or treating with her granddaughters when they walked up to a home on Rockford Court. The woman said an older man opened the door and took a picture of her grandchildren. The man asked if he could be in the picture with them, and she found that strange so she asked the OCSD to check the man out.
The OCSD spoke with the man, who said he takes pictures of everything for fun and meant nothing by it. The man later came to the OCSD Substation to drop off the picture and negatives and asked the OCSD to give them to the woman with his apologies.
