Police were dispatched to Bridgewater Apartments for a possible vehicle theft of July 6. When an officer arrived, he saw a red SUV and black SUV following each other on South Marshbank.
As the officer turned around, the two vechiles fled.
The officer pursued the two vehicles. The black SUV turned on Pelton Road.
The red SUV attempted to stop, but struck a parked truck. The driver fled the car.
The K-9 unit was called and found the man in a wooded area.
Another officer followed the black SUV into Waterford and Pontiac, but was instructed to end the pursuit.
A silver Dodge pickup at Bridgewater Apartments was also broken into.
