Ortonville- The Downtown Development Authority has two new board members.
By a 7-0 vote on Monday night the village council approved Kelly Quisenberry and Jayson Rumball to the DDA.
“Both of the candidates are great, I’ve known them for years,” said Councilman Mark Butzu.
Kelly Quisenberry is a village resident and also runs a business just outside the village. Jayson Rumball is a Brandon Township trustee, and applied for the position to help bridge the gap between the DDA and the township board, which was highlighted in the DDA’s January audit.
“I did have a chance to talk with both of them before everything went haywire and I’m very excited to bring both of them forward,” said Village President Tonja Brice.
