Goodrich — On Jan. 28 the Goodrich Martians Boys Varsity Basketball raced out to a 18-9 first quarter lead over the visiting Clio Mustangs and never looked back en route to a 71-38 Flint Metro League win. The Martians were up 32-19 at halftime and rolled up 39 points in the second half for the win.
GHS Jr. #5 Landon Williams tallied 20 points, eight rebounds, three assists and one steal; GHS Jr. #1 Parker LePla, 10 points, 16 boards, four assists, one steal and 1 block and GHS Sr. #4 Landon Brown 10 points, two rebounds and on block.
For Clio Jackson Frappier had 17 points and Robert Diment seven points.
