Baton Rouge — From April 4-7, the Goodrich Girls Powerlifting team competed in the USAPL High School National powerlifting meet in Baton Rouge. La.
On April 4, GHS “THE” Johnny Candiloro placed seventh in the men’s Junior Varsity 125K weight class. GHS Kyleigh Randall placed second in the JV 90K weight class GHS Lilah Konkle finished fifth.
On April 7, GHS Evelyn Edenburn finished first and is now a national champion in the 100k+ weight class. Edenburn squatted  380 pounds, benched 182 pounds, deadlifted 402 pounds for a 964 pound total. GHS Abby Stefanski  placed eighth in the same weight class.
