Brandon Twp. — On April 15, the Linden Eagles defeated the Brandon Blackhawks Girls Varsity Soccer team 2-1 at Brandon in a Flint Metro League game.
“Solid performance by the team,”said Blackhawk Head Coach Richard Puleo.
“Emily Bourn scored the only goal on a direct kick,” he said.  “BHS had seven shots on goal. Hannah Puleo BHS goalie had 14 shot against and saved a penalty shot. Lost two players to injury Kaylee Nichols and Stella Zielke that greatly impacted the game bit the rest of team rallied around them.”
