Pontiac— On May 3, BHS Senior Gaven Stamper finished in a three way tie for second place, third overall at the Oakland County D II Tournament at the Links at Crystal Lake, Pontiac with a score of 71.
Gaven advanced to the Oakland County DI tournament on May 15 at Fieldstone, Aburn Hills.
The Blackhawks finished tenth of 19 teams.
Everest Collegiate was first with a 305; South Lyon 310, Stoney Creek 310, North Farmington, 310, Walled Lake Western 316, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 321, Frankel Jewish Academy 331, Royal Oak 331, Waterford United and Brandon 334.
