Dear Editor,
The CROP Walk Committee thanks all the members of the community who participated in the 2009 CROP Walk. We would also like to thank all the recruiters and volunteers who worked so hard to organize the walk. As always, our local churches and merchants came together to help the walkers raise over $5,000 to fight hunger locally and globally.
Our deepest gratitude to Bueche’s Food World, Bullfrogs, Coats Village Funeral Home, Willow Pointe Flowers and Gifts, Northwest Heating and Cooling, Frosty Boy, China Fare, Oxford Bank, Salon Techniques, Brandon Tire and Battery and Tom’s Supermarket for their generous donations.
