Dear editor,
My family and I moved to Ortonville in 2004. We moved here from Ferndale because of the excellent school systems and quaint small-town atmosphere and we really like it.
When we moved here, we were told there was only one cable service available, Charter Communications, so we signed up. However, it didn’t take long to realize that there weren’t any Christian channels on their lineup. So, we switched to Dish Network.
Now, it’s become necessary for us to get high-speed internet, and once again, the only service available here is through Charter Communications. We wanted to bundle our service with them to save some money but, when we looked into the channel lineup we found that there are still no Christian channels available, not one, from 0-999.
So, I called Charter Communications to ask them why. They told me that there was no call for it because not enough people wanted Christian channels here. I don’t think that’s true but, in order to change it, a lot of people are going to need to call Charter to request them.
You can reach them by calling 1-888-438-2427.
