Area man arrested in CSC case

A Holly man has been charged in the molestation of his stepdaughter over the course of four years in the Sashabaw Meadows and Clarkston Lakes mobile home parks in Brandon Township.
David G. Alvarado, 36, was arraigned Nov. 20 on two counts of criminal sexual conduct, second degree, in front of 52-2 District Court Judge Joseph Fabrizio.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Det. Nick Pung said in September, the victim reported to school officials that between 2008 and 2012, her stepfather had inappropriate sexual contact with her. The victim was under the age of 13.
The charges are felonies punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
Alvarado was given a $25,000 cash surety bond. He remains in the Oakland County Jail. A preliminary exam is scheduled for Dec. 17.
