Orion Township Fire Department Assistant Chief Bob Smith said as far as he knows a fire suppression system located in the stove where the fire at Sagebrush Cantina began on March 4 was working properly.
‘By all accounts the employees stated it was working correctly,? he said. ‘I’ve talked to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department arson investigators and the ATF, and read those reports. What they stated was the employees told them it was working.?
The fire suppression system was located in the hood of the stove, Smith said.
