On Feb. 14, Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 21-year-old Clarkston man for the alleged assault of a Clarkston woman after finding the suspect hiding in a closet at his Mann Road residence.
The suspect allegedly assaulted the 18-year-old woman at his residence during an argument resulting in injuries to her left eye and lip.
Police were called when the girl returned to her parents house on Pinecroft around 1 a.m. She refused medical treatment for her injuries.
On their way to locate the suspect, police learned the man had a parole violation warrant for his arrest for criminal sexual conduct third degree with his the alleged victim of that crime being the assault victim.
While finding the man, police discovered marijuana on a coffee table at the man’s residence. The suspect was lodged in Oakland County Jail while warrants for domestic assault and marijuana possession were filed.
After being jailed, the man’s phone privileges were taken away after he reportedly made numerous collect calls to the assault victim.
