Asst. manager pleads no contest

The former assistant manager of a retail store in Brandon Township has pleaded no contest to criminal sexual conduct, fourth degree.
Ronald Jay Morris, a 60-year-old Holly resident, made the plea in front of Sixth Judicial Circuit Court Chief Judge Wendy Potts on Feb. 4.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Detective Chris Pacholski said Morris made unwanted sexual contact with a female employee of the store on Feb. 26, 2008. Another female employee made similar allegations against Morris, who was terminated from his employment and will be placed on the state’s sex offender list.
Sentencing is set for March 11.
