The boys? cross country team made history on Nov. 1 at Michigan International Speedway.
The team finished fourth in their Division I State Meet with 186 points.
The fourth place finish is the best state meet finish ever for the Lake Orion cross country team.
‘The kids ran very well,? said Coach Stan Ford. We had a very good team and knew we would have a good season.?
Three runners achieved all-state honors for finishing in the top 30. They are: Sean Bone (10th), Ryan Ziolko, (11th) and Jeremiah Hargett (12).
‘It’s characteristic of how they’ve performed all year,? Ford said. ‘They were really happy with their performance.?
