Paperback Book Swap
Monday, Aug. 25 from 4-8 p.m.
Bring your paperbacks to give away, and come home with new ones to read! Drop off your books ahead of time at the reference desk anytime the week before, or bring them to the swap. The library will be giving away the grand prize for the Summer Reading Club, and refreshments will be provided.

Summer 2008 Computer Classes
Intro. to Microsoft Word 2003
Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 2-4 p.m.
Learn the basics of creating, formatting and editing a simple document using Microsoft Word. Advance registration is required and space is limited for all three Microsoft classes, so call early.

Intro. to Microsoft Excel 2003
Wed., Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Learn the basics of what spreadsheets are and how you can create and use them.

Intro. to MS PowerPoint 2003
Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 6-8 p.m.
Learn how to create a simple presentation using PowerPoint.

Star Wars Movie Marathon
Saturday, Aug. 2 starting at 10 a.m.
The original Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Popcorn and pizza will be served!

Jeans Crafts
Saturday, Aug. 16 at 1 p.m.
Our TAB meeting will include making jean pocket purses, slippers or throw pillows. Supplies provided (unless you want to decorate your own jeans).

Library Lock-In
Friday, Aug. 22 at 8 p.m.
If you attend three programs at the library this summer, you are eligible to attend the Library Lock-In. Come in at 8 in the evening and bring your sleeping bags, ’cause you’ll be staying ’til 8 the next morning. We’ll watch movies, play video games, do crafts and, as always, eat!

Weds. through Aug. 20 from 1-4 p.m.
Got nothing to do when there’s no school? Come to the library. We’ll have board games, card games, computer games, and maybe some DDR and Guitar Hero. Meet new friends and have snacks.
