The Plante Moran firm will again perform the Independence Township audit.
The Township Board voted unanimously Jan. 2 to hire the auditing firm for $45,955, about a 7 percent increase over last year.
Fieldwork is set to begin on April 23. They should be finished by May 18 and their report should be ready by June 30.
