Ball honors the arts on Saturday

Tickets are still available for the 2007 Snowflake Ball to take place this Saturday (Feb. 10) at Indianwood Country Club in Lake Orion.
Funds raised during the 18th annual event will go toward programs and staffing of the Orion Art Center in Lake Orion.
The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, to be followed by dinner at 8 p.m.
After dinner and dessert, attendees can enjoy an open bar, live entertainment, silent and live auctions, and a program emceed by Kerry Birmingham.
The evening’s highlights will include a performance by members of the Lake Orion High School Orchestra just prior to the dinner.
Honorary chairpersons for the event are Diana and D.J. Ostrand of Accent on Art. Those to be honored include: Kimberly Kelly Santini, Artist of the Year; and Mike and Karen Shackelford of Micro Tech Systems, Patrons of the Year.
The 2007 Snowflake Ball Committee members are: Lisa Bjork, Julie Martin, Trisha Donaldson, Leslie Clements, Reggie Harrison, Sue Welch, Susan Borella, Michele Thomas, Leslie Shields, Bridgette Giampa, Sue Willick and Bobbie Tarbunas.
