Goodrich – Classes went on as usual Monday, March 10 at the high school despite a bomb threat at noon.
The discovery of a bomb threat was made by a student who saw it written on a restroom stall. The student reported it to a teacher who alerted school officials.
‘We went into lockdown, and then dismissed each class one by one to have them bused to an undisclosed location,? said Principal David St. Aubin. ‘Thankfully there was an officer and a bomb-sniffing dog close by, so it took less than an hour to run the drill.?
St. Aubin said nothing was found and there are no suspects at this time.
‘I am hoping it was a freshman who doesn’t know any better and is just trying to get dismissed early from school,? said St. Aubin. ‘Our older students know I don’t usually dismiss school.?
