Bomier, McGinnis get school board votes

Barry Bomier is staying on the Clarkston Board of Education, joined by newcomer Cheryl McGinnis.
Voters went to the polls Tuesday, May 8, to fill two seats.
Of 3,824 votes, McGinnis secured a seat with 1,526 votes.
Incumbent board Vice President Bomier received 1,194.
Challengers Joe Wauldron received 762 votes, and Edward Pierz 339.
McGinnis takes the seat vacated by Treasurer John Koval, who did not seek re-election.
