One hundred Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry recognizes women who are leaders in the automotive field ? those who make major decisions and have significant influence at their companies.
Automotive News published its first listing of the industry’s top female executives in September 2000, according to a press release.
‘I am both honored and humbled to be included with so many talented women,? she said.
At GKN Driveline Americas, Bouckley leads all manufacturing engineering activities. She oversees manufacturing activities at the company’s 11 facilities in the U.S., Mexico, Colombia and Brazil.
This Oxford native also has leadership responsibilities as part of the Driveline Global Manufacturing Engineering Team to establish standardized ways of working at all of the company’s facilities.
Bouckley has had many management firsts in her automotive career, including being the first female plant manager at Chrysler. She also previously worked at Eaton and Tyco. She graduated from GMI, which is now Kettering University in Flint.
‘In all the automotive disciplines, women are steadily winning increased authority, and that’s good not only for the women but for the auto industry,? said Peter Brown, Automotive News associate publisher and editorial director, in a press release.
Bouckley and her husband Eric Cetlinski, whom she described as her ‘best buddy,? have lived in Oxford Township since 2003.
‘We like being out in nature and on our pontoon boat,? she added. ‘We have three adult children, two of whom are Oxford High School graduates.?
The 2015 class of Automotive News? 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry emerged following a months-long nomination and judging process that attracted hundreds of entries from the United States, Canada and Mexico. The women are engaged in all aspects of the industry.
‘We had a tremendous field of candidates to consider for our leading women list. Many of the women we selected have operational jobs. They work at auto companies, suppliers and dealerships,? said Mary Beth Vander Schaaf, assistant managing editor and editor of Automotive News? special issue, in a press release. ‘The list includes seven CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), three COOs, (Chief Operating Officers) 14 presidents, 52 vice presidents, four assembly plant managers and one race car driver.?
