Stephanie Lavely finished the MHSAA Singles Bowling Finals in 39th place on March 3 at M-66 Bowl in Battle Creek. She bowled a total of 997 and had a high game of 202.
The top 16 bowlers continued to the final rounds.
The boys varsity bowling team finished their season on March 2 at the MHSAA Team Bowling Finals after taking 12th place during the qualifying block at the finals. They scored a total of 3,118 points. They missed the cut by 52 pins.
“It was a great accomplishment to even qualify for the state championship,” said assistant coach Alan Pittman.
The top eight teams continued on to battle for the state championship.
