The Lake Orion boys basketball team picked up a couple of wins last week heading into the state playoffs.
The Dragons routed Oak Park in an OAA matchup, 71-58, and also disposed of Birmingham Seaholm, 63-56.
David Henry led the way for the Dragons against Oak Park with a 25-point outburst. Nate Marcum netted 20 and John McCarty scored 18.
The Dragons held off a late run by Seaholm to claim another win in the OAA White. Nate Marcum with 14 points helped the dragons, David Henry added 12 and Ted Rydquist netted 10. Daemon Johnson hit some big free thorws down the stretch to held the Dragons hold off Seaholm.
