Brandon Varsity Baseball Coach Ron Wagner, his staff, and players are conducting a baseball camp Saturday, April 9 for boys and girls ages 7-14.
The camp gets underway at 8:30 a.m. at Brandon High School, 1025 S. Ortonville Road, Ortonville, with registration and sign-in.
Drills and instruction will take place from 9 a.m.-noon, at which point the camp will resume. At 12:45 p.m., drills and instruction resume until the camp ends at 3 p.m.
Camp topics include: hitting and bunting, infield and outfield play, catching and throwing fundamentals, pitching mechanics, and sliding and base running. A guest speaker will also be present at the camp.
Campers are asked to bring a baseball glove and bat, and gym shoes and sweatpants. The cost of the camp is $25 (preregistration) or $30 (at the door), which includes a lunch and a camp T-shirt.
