ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Brandon Fire Department is accepting sealed bids from qualified licensed contractors for minor renovations to Brandon Fire Station #1.
Sealed bids should be delivered to Bob McArthur, Fire Chief, no later than:

Ortonville, MI 48462
No oral, telegraph or telephone proposals or modifications shall be considered.
Prior to submitting bids contractors are required to meet with Fire Chief Bob McArthur to discuss bid specifications.
The process by which a Contractor will be selected will not be based upon the bid price alone. The Fire Chief reserves the right to interview the bidders to discuss their qualifications, the completeness of their bids, their understanding of the work, any alternatives or discrepancies they would like to discuss before a contract is signed.
All proposals shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after July 30, 2007. All Bid Proposals submitted shall be on the form provided and found in the specifications packet.
Requests for copies of the plans and specifications for this renovation and any questions regarding this renovation should be directed to Robert McArthur, Fire Chief, Brandon Fire Department, 53 South Street, Ortonville, Michigan, 248-627-4000.

Brandon Fire Department is requesting sealed bids for a 1979 30 Series Chevrolet dual wheel, 4×4. It has a utility box with a 250 pump and tank. Very good condition, very low mileage.
The unit is located at 53 South Street, Ortonville. All sealed bids must be returned to Brandon Township Clerk’s Office 395 Mill St., Ortonville, MI 48462 no later than 3 pm August 26, 2005.
A minimum bid of $1,500.00 is required.
