Bridgewood Church hosts “Friday Night Movies on the Lawn,? Friday, Aug. 1.
‘We’re going to be doing it every year now,? said Tom Herfer of Bridgewood church. ‘We’ll set up a big inflatable movie screen and families can come, sit on the lawn and enjoy a good movie.?
This year’s feature will be the Pixar film ‘Over the Hedge.? There will also be pre-movie activities such as concession stands and moonwalks for the kids.
‘It’s not really a churchy type of thing, but a community type of thing,? said Herfer. ‘We’re allowing families to come like the drive in movies of years past.?
Bridgewood church is located at 6765 of Rattalee Lake Road. Parking is onsite and pre-movie events will start at 8 p.m. Movie be begins at dusk.
