Christi’s Bar & Grill (95 E. Clarkston Rd.) in Lake Orion is hosting a fund-raiser for Jim Ayotte, a 44-year-old LOHS graduate who was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in January.
The benefit will take place Sunday, April 15 from 4 to 9:30 p.m. There will be a buffet dinner and music by Ron Pirrone and Roy Caldwell. Attendees will have the option of contributing $20, which includes dinner. Those not eating can still contribute if they wish. There’s no charge for children. A silent auction and raffle will also take place.
Proceeds will be used to help pay for Ayotte’s mounting medical bills and daily needs as he is unable to work due to chemotherapy treatments.
