A public hearing on amended sewage disposal rates will be held as part of the Lake Orion Village Council’s meeting on Monday, Dec. 12. The proposed rate change is in response to increased charges for sewage disposal services being charged by the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, effective Jan. 1, 2012. The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m, in the village hall located at 37 E. Flint Street.
