The Oxford Varsity Boys Basketball lost 65-34 to Waterford Kettering in the district semifinals March 2.
Despite all their hard work and efforts, Coach Steve Laidlaw said Waterford Kettering was just ‘too quick? and ‘too athletic? for Oxford.
The good news is three Oxford players were recently named All-League in the Flint Metro League. Senior David Wendt was named 1st team while juniors Billy Keenist and Allan Willar were named 3rd team. Senior Brandon McKay received an honorable mention.
