A 56-year-old Oxford woman was taken to the hospital March 5 after her 2002 Dodge Stratus collided with a semi-truck at the intersection of Drahner and M-24.
The truck, driven by a 44-year-old Detroit man, was headed south on M-24 when the Stratus, which was eastbound on Drahner Rd., crashed into its trailer, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s report.
As a result, the truck hit a 2009 Ford Escape, driven by a 30-year-old Oxford woman, which was also headed south on M-24.
Both the truck driver and the 30-year-old driver stated the signal was green for southbound M-24 traffic, the report stated.
The 56-year-old driver was cited for failure to yield.
