In honor of Grandparents’ Day, the second grade classrooms at Carpenter Year-Round Elementary School recently hosted a special afternoon to celebrate grandparents. Some children invited an older relative, family friend or neighbor to participate if their grandparents were unable to come to the event. The afternoon was spent sharing memories and enjoying games from the past, story time, puzzles and enjoying a snack.
