Carpenter participates in Fun Run

Carpenter Elementary School hosted their second annual ‘Fun Run? on Wednesday, May 2.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade enjoyed running laps on the school track to raise money for the Carpenter Parent Teacher Council (PTC).
The students not only enjoyed the beautiful weather, they also gained the benefits of the extra exercise.
Carpenter’s PTC uses the funds raised from the ‘Fun Run? to finance activities throughout the school year.
Some of the events have included the annual ‘Welcome Back? picnic, school dances, ice cream socials, movie nights, school assemblies, and Intersession scholarships.
Thanks to all of the parent volunteers and to the Carpenter students for their enthusiasm and school spirit.
