Celebrate Oxford seeks antique dealers

The Oxford Community Development Authority is seeking antique dealers to participate in this year’s Celebrate Oxford, a premier event in Northeast Oakland County. The fifth annual Celebrate Oxford event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, and again feature an Antique Show and Sale from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will include an Antique Appraisal Fair.
The Antique Show and Sale will be located on E. Burdick at M-24 under tent cover. The show has featured dealers from throughout Southeast Michigan who offer fine quality antiques dating before 1960. Celebrate Oxford is a premier annual summer event whose sponsorship includesThe Oxford Leader, The Oakland Press and Meijer. The festival features an Antique Show and Sale, Antique Appraisal Fail, Rotary Classic Car Show, Kids Central, Rural Pearl of a Bike Ride Fundraiser, Art in the Village, Taste of Oxford and live entertainment including world renowned jazz musician Alexander Zonjic, sponsored by Oxford Bank, and a cappella group Elmo Thumm.
