Mark your calendars for August 18 at 3 p.m. Catalina Lounge is throwing a 50th birthday party and you’re invited.
‘There are so many people from Orion who’ve been in here,? said Manager Shriley Stapleton. ‘We’d like to find those people and have them come back in here for the party.?
The party will include a live band, and a DJ, as well as drink and food specials priced at what they once were years ago, noted Stapleton.
Also if anybody has any old photos of Catalina Lounge, she said to bring them in.
‘We’re going to have pictures and hang them up all over the walls,? she said. ‘I will give the pictures back.?
Stapleton said for a business to be around 50 years is remarkable. They still serve their famous fish and chips like they did on day one when Catalina Lounge opened.
‘We just want everybody to come in and enjoy it with us, and to thank them for coming over here this many years,? Stapleton said.
