Faye Sutton married Mathew Mersino on July 16, 1949 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion. The couple have since resided in Oxford and Brandon Township. Their family honored them with a party on July 18. The Mersinos have seven children’Brad (Patti) of Arizona, Rod (Karen) of Lapeer, Lana (Joe) Quisenberry of Ortonville, Randy of Perry, Valerie of Ortonville, Doug of Clarkston and Veronica Coulter of Lapeer. They also have 24 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
