The Dragon cheer squad used a stellar round three routine (316.0) points to come-from-behind and beat Rochester at the OAA I league meet last Saturday at Troy Athens.
Lake Orion beat Rochester, who had won the two OAA I jamborees earlier this year, by 10 points in the final round.
Their team total of 732.3, was 4.1 points ahead of their rivals.
The league meet accounts for half of the team’s regular season total. Lake Orion’s 18 points tied Rochester for tops in the leauge (though Rochester accumulated more points in competition in the three meets).
LO currently sits fourth in the state rankings, with Rochester occupying the top spot.
