Also, city planner Dick Carlisle of Carlisle Wortman Associates said the Planning Commission approved the site plan, two conditional rezonings, and a special land use for outdoor seating for 148 N. Main Street.
‘We had a really good discussion,? Carlisle said, May 20. ‘I would say there were about 20-30 residents that came to voice their opinions. Most of the comments were good, but there were residents who voiced some concerns, mostly in regards to traffic.?
Local business owners Curt Catallo and Ann Stevenson would like to turn the location, which has been an automotive business since 1921, into a coffee and deli shop with outdoor seating and a possible drive-through.
Planners and representatives for current and perspective owners will come before the Clarkston City Council, June 9 at City Hall.
