Clarkston High School graduate Elizabeth Gorz performed with Greater Lansing Ballet Company’s 10th annual performance of the Nutcracker Ballet, Dec. 20, in the Fairchild Theatre at Michigan State University.
She performs in the Battle Scene, Snow Scene, Spanish Dance in the Kingdom of Sweets and Waltz of the Flowers. This is the ballet company’s 20th anniversary. The company’s repertory includes the traditional Nutcracker Ballet, which has been performed locally and toured for 10 years.
A senior company member, Gorz has danced most of her life. She is a 2009 graduate of Michigan State University, James Madison College and currently works on constituent affairs for the Michigan Senate Majority Leader, Michael D. Bishop. Elizabeth is the daughter of Leonard and Kari Gorz of Clarkston and granddaughter of James and Mikel O’Neill of Clarkston.
