Clarkston Road just east of Clintonville Road in Independence Township is set to close Saturday, Sept. 8, for construction work.
Road Commission for Oakland County will replace a deteriorating culvert under Clarkston Road.
Detour route for Clarkston Road traffic will be Eston Road to Clintonville Road back to Clarkson Road.
