Clarkston Rotary club is accepting ShelterBox donations to help thousands of people left homeless in Japan following the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disasters.
ShelterBox USA delivers boxes of aid to those struck by disaster around the world. Each box contains a disaster relief tent for up to 10 people, stove, blankets, water filtration system, and other tools for survival.
The cost of a complete ShelterBox is $1,000. Donations can be made to ShelterBoxUSA on line at ShelterBoxusa.org or checks, for a full or partial Box, made out to ShelterBoxUSA and sent to Clarkston Rotary, PO Box 43, Clarkston, MI 48347.
