The Clarkston Village Players will hold auditions for ‘An Evening of One-Act Plays.? The group is seeking men and women ages 20-50 to appear in two one-act comedies: ‘The Actor’s Nightmare? and ‘The Whole Shebang.?
In ‘The Actor’s Nightmare,? George, having casually wandered onstage, is informed that one of the actors was in an auto accident and he must replace him immediately. Unfortunately, George has no idea what play he is in and desperately tries to keep the play going and keep up with fellow actors.
‘The Whole Shebang? asks the question,’What if the entire universe was just some nerd’s science project?? The story follows a student striving for a ‘Master of the Universe? degree on this unusual thesis as two professors and a dean interrogate the student an his two visual aids, a ‘typical? man and woman.
Auditions for both plays take place on Feb 26 from 2-4 and Feb. 27 from 7-9. Production dates are May 5-7, 11-13, 18-20. Ages are flexible. Auditions are had at Depot Theater, 4861 Lake Road. For more information, visit www.clarkstonvillageplayers.org.
