Class of ?57 will party all week long, in style

The Lake Orion High School Class of 1957 will celebrate their 50th reunion this Saturday at The Canterbury Village Castle.
The evening activities begin at 6 p.m. and include dinner and dancing. Guests will also be able to have their picture taken with a 1957 Chevrolet convertible.
‘We’re dubbing it the official class reunion car,? said ?57 LOHS graduate Eric Bothwell.

The class of ?57 graduated 97 students, and was the last class to graduate from old LOHS on Elizabeth Road.
The week-long reunion began on Monday, when approximately 30 guests arrived at Mackinac Island.
Events continue on Friday, when another 30 guests will tee off at 4 p.m. for a golf scramble.
The reunion will be capped off on Sunday, Aug. 26 with a 2 p.m. picnic at John and Barb Kelley’s house on Lake Orion.
