Downtown Lake Orion will present the Second Annual Flower Fair on May 17 on the streets of historic downtown Lake Orion, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
The streets will be closed to traffic, and vendors from all areas of yard and garden and outdoor living will set up to display their wares. There will be flowers, from flats to specialities; to water plants and herbs. There will be garden ornaments, outdoor furniture, patio supplies and many other vendors with ideas for the summer season.
Special speakers are, at 11 a.m., Jacobsen’s Flower and Garden Town presenting ‘Ask the Expert Lawn and Garden Questions;? at 12 p.m., Water Garden Seminar, sponsored by Plandscapes; and at 1 p.m., Orion Stone Depot presents Unilock Stone Paver Demonstrations.
The event will also feature pony rides, a moonwalk, arts and crafts from the Orion Art Center and much more for everyone in the family. Art of Living is sponsoring a cute baby photo contest in conjunction with the fair.
Orion Township will also hold its annual Perennial Exchange at The Flower Fair. Bring three of your plants, take home two new ones and donate one to Friendship Park, beginning at 9 a.m.
